A selection of works from MA PGRP (Module 1) of the MA Fine Art course at Hereford College of Arts.

An investigation into the presence of 'essence' in objects through a series of still life paintings using self selected subjects.

The study was partly informed by Jane Bennett's concept of 'Thing Power' as expressed in her 'Vibrant Matter', Object-Oriented Ontology and the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi.
