The Quiet Jar

A mixed media still life painting with burlap on prepared paper, featuring a small isolated jar in the foreground with a group of old bottles in the far right corner.It felt very important to lose the support edges. A continuation of my search for essence in objects but many of the still lifes created took on an autobiographical life of their own. Is this essence? If so, whose?
